Micro Weft Extensions

Micro Weft Extension During and After

Micro Weft Hair Extensions is a brilliant method which is completely glue and heat free.

Micro Weft Hair Extensions involves using a weft of hair which is a long seam that the hair is attached to at the top.

Wefts of hair come in a variety of colours, lengths up to 22 inches and styles i.e. straight, body wave, curly and different hair textures i.e. Remy, European or Yaki (although Remy is always recommended).

Micro Weft Hair Extensions add instant volume and length to your own hair ideal for bridal hair or any special occasion or just bored of waiting for your own hair to grow and want an instant change.

Micro Weft Hair Extensions is a great budget buster and fantastic for people who want to try Hair Extensions for the first time

How it works:

Micro Weft Hair Extension application method is much quicker than the individual strand by strand micro ring or pre-bonded method. Because there are less micro rings that have to be applied to the hair weft this dramatically reduces fitting time.

The weft of hair is placed horizontally in strips against the head. Small sections of hair and hair from the weft are gently pulled through micro rings which are clamped down to secure the weft is in place, these sections are placed ¾ inch apart. This is continued in sections until almost reaching the top of the head.

Maintenance:

Repositioning of rings is where your own hair has grown and its time for  the weft to be moved back to the original position, which is usually required every 4-6 weeks depending how fast your hair grows.

Pricing:

Hair weft can be bought in to the salon to be applied or we can order you the best grade of hair weft for long lasting use. (price of hair on consultation also hair costs are non-refundable from hair manufactures.

See separate price list for application cost.

Individual Hair Extensions

Copper Tubing Individual Hair Extensions

Nano Bead Individual Hair Extensions

Easy Shrink Individual Hair Extensions

Micro Bead Individual Hair Extensions

These include nano beads (very discreet in the hair) micro beads (slightly bigger bead than the nano) copper tubes (a longer bead that sits flatter in the hair) easy shrinks (great for short term use this is a silicone tube that is shrunken into the hair by using heat). Hair is usually matched up in salon via consultation with our professional hair extension technician - Georgia, the cost of the hair is all quoted on consultation as this varies in cost for each clients needs.

There are many hair extension techniques to choose from. These techniques usually vary in the type of glue or bonding material used to attach the extensions to the natural hair. What sets apart micro-ring hair extensions (also known as micro-loop hair extensions) is that there is no need for adhesive, making this technique the preferred option of many. The client’s natural hair is attached to the weft of the extension via a very small ring or loop, which the hair extension technician will then press very closely to the scalp, thereby securing the bond without the need for adhesive. The result is extremely natural-looking, secure, non-damaging, and enduring

Pros

These hair extensions do not use any sort of adhesive, and are better for your natural hair.

When properly cared for, these extensions will last from four to six months.

Micro-ring hair extensions are very natural looking and extremely secure.

Cons

If you want longer or fuller hair for a short period of time (e.g. one night for an event), this is a very time-consuming process.

If you have very short hair, it will be harder to make the extensions invisible.

Maintenance:

• No type of hair extension does well in swimming pool water—and chlorinated water will damage even your natural hair. Therefore, you are advised to stay away from the pool!

• You want to avoid tangles at all costs. Brushing your hair extensions regularly will help achieve this. Gather your hair to one side and firmly take hold of it in one hand. With the other, begin brushing the ends of your hair. Holding it will ensure that you are not pulling on your extensions while you are working on detangling the ends. Gradually work your way up until you have to let go of your hold, and comb the rest of your hair. It is recommended to purchase a good extension brush and extension detangling comb.

• Brush Your Hair on a Regular Basis - You want to avoid tangles at all costs.

• Tie Your Hair Back While You Sleep - Again, this is to avoid tangles. Tie your hair back in a loose braid so that movement in your sleep does not create tangles.

Micro-ring extensions are an appropriate if you want a fuller, longer look that will last for several months. With proper care, you can extend the life of your extensions. Best of luck with your new look

Tape Extensions

Tape In Hair Extensions

Putting them in and taking them out isn't too time-consuming

It takes an hour and a half tops, no longer than a head of highlights and that's for a whole head. The extension hair is bonded to inch-long super sticky strips. The stylist peels off the cover (just like a sticker), revealing the adhesive, and sandwiches small sections of natural hair between two of these strips. It sounds easy enough for DIY, but the placement is critical to the overall look, so leave it to a trained stylist.

The removal is even faster. The stylist drenches the tape bonds in a solute that loosens the adhesive, then gently wiggles the extensions off. Then, all you need is a couple of shampoos to remove all of the solution. the extensions are reusable given the correct care they can be re-taped by yourself or your stylist who will charge for time spent on doing this.

Maintenance

They're Easy to Care For.

Wash, blow-dry, flatiron, curl, scrunch, and braid the extensions. Basically, treat them just as you would your own natural hair. Which is to say, as gently as possible. Like natural hair, extensions (specifically the adhesive bonds) are most fragile when wet. its best to blast the roots and bonds with a blow-dryer before gently combing through to detangle. This helps prevent any tugging on the wet bonds. also always sleep with your hair in a loose braid. It not only helps prevent any tangling during the night but also results in the world's easiest waves. extension hair actually holds hairstyles better than my natural hair.

Free pre-consultation is required and extensions are available at selected salons.
